Understanding Behavior, Building Confidence- A Parent Workshop

Overview

A supportive, parent-friendly workshop to understand behavior, reduce stress, and build confidence using practical strategies.

Understanding Behavior, Building Confidence is a supportive, parent-focused workshop designed to help caregivers better understand why children engage in certain behaviors and how to respond with clarity and confidence.

This workshop moves beyond labels and quick fixes. Instead, it focuses on practical, everyday strategies parents can use at home, during routines, and in real-life situations such as transitions, homework time, play, and community outings.

Participants will learn how behavior serves a purpose, how emotions and environment influence behavior, and how small changes in adult responses can lead to meaningful improvements. The session is designed to be approachable, encouraging, and free of technical jargon.
